M&J Institute of Computer Studies aims to be the leading Computer Training School in Ghana.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Institute is to provide the highest possible quality computer education, training, research and consultancy, in order to meet the growing needs and aspirations of individuals who want to be computer literate and for organizations, communities and the country as whole.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Our main objective is to transfer computer knowledge and related skills to students in a structured supervised and business-centered manner. The idea is that senior executives, managers and other professional staff as well as clerical and secretarial staff will become sufficiently computer literate to improve their managerial competency, efficiency, effectiveness and control with the use of computers. This leads to higher quality, greater productivity and excellent performance standards at workplace and other offices.
BRIEF HISTORY OF M&JICS
M&J INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER STUDIES (M&JICS) formerly called INSTITUTE OF COMPUTER STUDIES AND SERVICES (ICSS), a division of OMARI COMPUTEK SYSTEMS LTD. It commenced courses in May 1995 and has already given training to well over 1,000 students by the end of 1999. Some of these students were graduates of the secondary and tertiary institutions of Ghana and other countries in West Africa. Since 1996, about 600 staff of the Bank of Ghana, Land Valuation Board, WAEC, Survey Department and Ghana Water Company have all received special training at ICSS. Special training programmes have also been arranged for senior executives of companies, ministers of states, international civil servants, ambassadors and other individuals who have all completed with the relevant certificates.
